Ignite Performing Arts Ensemble programs are a creative, cross-genre education for aspiring performers of all ages. In our Ensemble programs, performers can build their skills sequentially as they grow, with each year laying a solid foundation for the next.

Our carefully crafted programs give members the tools to develop into lifelong musicians who can express themselves creatively, all while thriving in our Ignite Performing Arts community of like-minded players. 

Radiance Winterguard

Who We Are

Radiance Winterguard is a color guard created for middle school students (ages 11-14) to learn the fundamentals of color guard and build a show to perform for friends and family. Ignite Performing Arts plans to help to recruit for local high school marching bands and elevate the state of this marching band and color guard activity in Southeast Michigan.

Led by a team of dedicated and passionate instructors, Radiance Winterguard is the ideal situation for students to learn color guard for the first time, solidify their fundamental skills, and grow as performers in a very supportive and fun environment.  Our ensemble is open to any interested students aged 11-14 who want to try something new, work as a team, and have a great time doing it!

  • Weekly performance course/rehearsals begin with a clinic on December 17th, and run from January to March.

    • Saturdays, 9am-1pm

    • Wilson Gymnasium in Mt. Clemens: 58 S Wilson Blvd, Mt Clemens, MI 48043

    • Weekly performance classes/rehearsals from January to March

    • 1 exhibition showcase at the Michigan Color Guard Circuit

    • 1 free performance for the community

    • A commemorative t-shirt for the performer

    • Fun activities to inspire creativity + build friendships
